For prevention, when administered as directed , to healthy pullets between the ages of 8 weeks and 4 weeks before egg production starts. Live Vaccine that requires mixing. To administer, hold the bird and spread the wing with the underside facing upwards. Dip the vaccinator tool in the vaccine making sure the channels of the needles are immersed. Stick the tool through the membrane/web of the wing, but avoid blood vessels, bones, and wing muscles. Must use vaccine within 1 hour of mixing. If given to layers, this may cause a decrease in egg production that often lasts 10-14 days. Do not vaccinate within 21 days prior to slaughter.
 
Hygieria Biological Laboratories: 1000 dose live-virus fowl pox vaccine for vaccinating chickens 8 weeks of age and older.  Comes with a 2-pronged wing-web applicator.  Don’t vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter or 4 weeks prior to the start of hens’ laying. 
There are no returns or refunds for vaccines, antigen tests, or supplies. Due to UPS's no-refund policy on perishable products, we will not be responsible for any vaccine or antigen once it is shipped unless the shipment is lost or never found by UPS. UPS will not issue a refund for items that arrive "hot" or late, so plan to be available to accept shipments upon delivery. We will send you the tracking number.
 
Vaccines are only shipped on Mondays or Tuesdays.

Shipping will cost $30 to $60, shipped via UPS. Shipping via USPS will cost more. The cost includes a cooler in a cardboard box, one large ice pack, and instructions for using the antigen or vaccine. You can purchase more ice packs for shipment, especially during hot weather.
